History: | Named by J. E. Mcgrath, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), probably for Stehman Forney, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). This name may have been originally applied to what is now Osar Stream. The original Forney Stream, except for a small lagoon, has been destroyed by the advance of the Malaspina Glacier. |
